I drew a an old friend last week in white charcoal and really liked how it turned out. Below i’ve posted a couple pictures of the drawing along with a picture of Freddy and me.

I was approached by writer Josh Fernandez from the Sacramento News & Review to do a story on my art. I happily excepted and he came by the studio last week to chat and take photos. If you wanna check out the article i posted a link down below.

SN&R Interview

I’ll have a piece in this year’s Circus Show on September 13th at the Verge Gallery. The theme for the show is exposing cruelty to animals in the circus. Not exactly something you’d see my art in but, when artist/currator Gale Hart approached me months ago and asked if i’d put something in, i just couldn’t say no. Below is the piece i did for the show along with the link to the website.
